Do you shop at Kroger? You can earn free money for the Indiana Youth Rugby Foundation (Rugby Indiana) just by shopping. The more you shop, the more Rugby Indiana can earn. You will still get all your fuel points and other rewards. This is in addition to those programs.

ELI LILLY EMPLOYEE PROGRAMS
Eli Lilly has two programs that employees can use which will benefit the Foundation (Rugby Indiana).
Employee Volunteer Program
Eli Lilly and Company provides volunteer grants when employees and retirees volunteer with a nonprofit on a regular basis. Lilly provides grants of $250 for continuing, active involvement with a nonprofit organizations.

Employee Matching Gifts Program
Through the Eli Lilly and Company Foundation, Eli Lilly matches donations from current employees and retirees to many nonprofits.
Eli Lilly Match Limits:
- Current Eli Lilly employees are eligible to request matching gifts of up to $30,000 annually
- Eli Lilly retirees are eligible to request matching gifts of up to $7,500 annually

VERIZON EMPLOYEE PROGRAMS
Verizon Employee Programs
Verizon has two programs that employees can use which will benefit the Foundation (Rugby Indiana).
Employee Volunteer Program
Through Verizon’s Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP), the company provides grants to nonprofits where employees volunteer on a regular basis. After Verizon employees volunteer 50 hours with an organization in a year, Verizon provides a volunteer grant of $750 to that organization.
Each Verizon employee can request up to two separate $750 grants each year as long as 50 hours have been volunteered with each organization.
Submission Process: Employees / volunteers should log their hours and request volunteer grants electronically by logging in at http://www.verizon.com/about/employee-and-retiree-giving-login/.
Employee Matching Grants Programs:
- Individual Matching Grants
Verizon matches individual employee donations up to $5,000 to higher education or $1,000 to nearly any other nonprofit. - Team Champions program
When teams of 10 or more Verizon employees collectively raise funds for a nonprofit or school, Verizon will match the funds raised up to $10,000 per team and event.
Submission Process: Employees / donors should register their matching gift requests electronically by logging in at http://www.verizon.com/about/employee-and-retiree-giving-login/ to access the matching donation form.
Submission Deadline: Employees have until end of January in the year following when the donation was made to submit a matching gift request.

- Designate “Indiana Youth Rugby Foundation” as a beneficiary on your IRA or your company sponsored retirement plan.
- Designate “Indiana Youth Rugby Foundation” as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
- Name “Indiana Youth Rugby Foundation” in your will for a portion of your estate.
The Indiana Youth Rugby Foundation (Rugby Indiana) supports and promotes the Donor Bill of Rights.

To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have these rights:
- To be informed of the organization’s mission, of the way the organization intends to use donated resources, and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.
- To be informed of the identity of those serving on the organization’s governing board, and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.
- To have access to the organization’s most recent financial statements.
- To be assured their gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.
- To receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition.
- To be assured that information about their donations is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.
- To expect that all relationships with individuals representing organizations of interest to the donor will be professional in nature.
- To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organization or hired solicitors.
- To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that an organization may intend to share.
- To feel free to ask questions when making a donation and to receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers.
