USA Youth & High School Rugby is rolling out a new Grade Confirmation system inside the RX platform. It works alongside the existing age verification process to help confirm that every high school player is eligible to compete, all in one simple online step for parents.

Why this matters

Age verification alone doesn’t tell the full eligibility story for high school rugby. Grade confirmation adds the missing piece, giving coaches, administrators, and opponents confidence that rosters are accurate and every player is cleared to play.

How it works as we currently understand it

This could change a bit yet as they are making final adjustments

  1. Register your player as usual. Nothing changes about the initial registration process.

  2. Watch your email. After registration, the email on file receives a unique verification link tied to that player’s USAR ID, profile, and email address.

  3. Open the link. Parents will see two upload boxes:

    • Age verification (only needed once; skip this box if it’s already on file)

    • Grade verification (new, and required each season)

  4. Upload the documents. Drop in the relevant files for each box that applies to your player.

  5. Get cleared. Once uploaded, the documents are reviewed and cleared through our system.

  6. Automatic sync to RX. Our system sends a message directly to RX, and the player is checked off as verified on their RX profile. No extra steps needed from parents or coaches after that.

What to expect right now

This system is rolling out now, and a few details are still being finalized, including the exact list of accepted grade documents and season deadlines. We’ll share a full instructions guide as soon as those specifics are confirmed, and we’ll update this post with that link.

What parents and coaches should do today

We know rolling this out in stages means some questions will stay open for a bit. Thank you for your patience as everyone finish the details, and we’ll keep this post updated as more information becomes available.
